Personalized Burp Cloths

With the pending birth of our third daughter (one month away!!) I've used my "spare" time to make her some personalized burp cloths. My favorite colors right now are pink and brown-it's so trendy, too. Here is a set of three that I did with some really cute paisley and diamond material on two, and a simple appliqued polka dot "H" on the third. A set of three sells for $22.

Stainless Steel Water Bottles

Here's a new item to our inventory-so new that I still need to add it to our web store! For those of you that love our stainless steel mugs, but don't drink coffee (like me!) you'll love our new stainless steel water bottles. They hold 17 oz of your favorite cold drink and keep it cool for hours. It's got a neat little hook that you can use to attach it to your diaper bag or backpack, so it's always handy. Big Website Update

Well, I spent all afternoon and think I'm finally finished updating the Simply Sewn website. Phew, that was alot of work. We've said goodbye to our quilts, denim and ribbon bags and quilted jackets. There just wasn't enough demand for them, and we're going to move away from sewing and focus more on embroidery. We've added more color selections for the Minky blanket we sell, and added Spa wraps -the perfect gift for bridal parties or new mommies. Can also be used for a beach or pool cover up. And the Traveler-and adorable bag that's like a dopp kit but smaller and cuter. Perfect for vacations, slumber parties, trips to the gym and more. We also added our Stainless Steel embroidered mugs. Baby Fever

It seems like everyone I know (including ME!) is expecting a baby in the next few months. Baby fever must have hit everyone about 9 months ago! We're expecting our third bundle of joy (it's a girl!) in May and so of course I'm looking at adding more cute baby items to our product list. One of the things that we already sell that I just love is these Minky blankies from minttm. They are so soft and cuddly, and at 16"x16", the are the perfect size for a lovey. They come in a variety of colors, pictured here is Chocolate Blooms, including Camo and other cool boy colors!

Happy 2009!

Wow! December just flew by for me! I was so busy with Trunk Shows and holiday orders that I didn't have time to take a breath! I'm breathing a little easier now and am ready to update our website. No, I won't get to it today, but I will get it done by the end of January. We're going to add some new products, and retire some older ones. We hope you'll like our new selections. Market Tote Bags

Here's another new item we are going to add to our website soon. Adorable bags from Buckhead Betty. This bag comes in the lime as shown, as well as pink, brown and black and white. They have a little tie closure at the top and look adorable with our monogramming on them. We carried them around at a craft market recently and got tons of compliments on them! They'll sell for $25 with embroidery.

Butterfly Applique

Here's a close up of an applique that we created for a little girl named Madison. Isn't that butterfly just too cute? Wouldn't your daughter or granddaughter just love to wear this on a cozy sweatshirt this winter? What a perfect Christmas or birthday gift!!
